EXPAND YOUR PRACTICE
Under the guidance of master teacher Simon Borg Olivier learn how to use posture, movement and breathing to maintain and enhance health and longevity, as well as to recover more rapidly from musculoskeletal and medical conditions. You will be shown how to use asana, vinyasa, pranayama, bandha, kriya and mudra to access your body’s natural healing powers and to enhance strength, flexibility, energy and internal health. This course contains information essential for yoga teachers, teachers in training and anyone interested in learning how to use yoga to heal and prevent illness and injury.
The workshops will run over two weekends:
28-30 Sep 2018 (19 hours) | Yoga Therapy for the Arms, Legs & Lower back
12-14 Oct 2018 (19 hours) | Yoga Therapy for the Trunk & Physiology
Starting with a 3 hour introduction on the Friday night, times will be the same each weekend.
6.15 pm 9pm Friday | 9am-6pm, Saturday and Sunday with one hour lunch break.
Each weekend is a self-contained course and may be attended independently.
Each weekend is worth 18 Continuing Education Points (CEP), so both weekends are worth 36 CEP.

YOUR TEACHER - Simon Borg-Olivier
Simon Borg-Olivier has been teaching since 1982 throughout the world. Simon is an advanced yoga practitioner with 50 years of practice, a registered physical therapist, a lecturer at RMIT University, co-director of YogaSynergy and co-author of the ‘Applied Anatomy and Physiology of Yoga’. YogaSynergy is traditional Eastern Yoga that has been specifically developed and adapted for the modern Western body by exercise-based physical therapists and yoga teachers.
